Terms of Service
Plain-English terms for using iwantanew.cv. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
The service
iwantanew.cv gives you tools to draft, edit, translate, and export CVs and cover letters, with optional AI assistance. Available templates, AI features, and export formats can change over time.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- One person, one account. Do not share credentials.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you write or upload. You grant us the minimum licence needed to store, display, translate, and export it back to you. We never publish your CVs. When you delete content or your account, our licence ends.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload other people's data without permission.
- Do not use the AI features to generate fraudulent CVs or misrepresent credentials.
- Do not attempt to break, scrape, or reverse engineer the service.
Free trial and paid plans
New accounts get a 7-day Pro trial. After the trial you keep a Free plan or upgrade to Pro or Student. Paid plans renew automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. Cancel any time — you keep access until the end of the paid period.
Refunds
EU consumers get the standard 14-day right of withdrawal. If you start using AI features during that window, you accept that the service has begun and refunds are prorated for the unused period.
AI output
AI-generated text is a draft. You are responsible for checking accuracy before sending it to employers. We do not warrant that AI output is error-free or truthful.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for lost opportunities, missed applications, or indirect damages.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state of our operating entity. Consumer protection rights in your country of residence still apply.
